As a woman in tech, Julie paved her own path to executive leadership through investing in her greatest asset — her team. Though known for level-headed firefighting, asking tough questions, advocating for more empathic tech and data privacy considerations, whiteboarding complex systems, and, of course, her spreadsheets, the true secret to her success has been drawing out the very best in people and collaborating at all levels of the org chart.
Similar to an elusive unicorn, she bridges the gap between design, tech and business through formal training in design, Think-Tank exposure to brand strategy, and over a decade of experience developing process and customer-centric products, strategically building teams, and leading growth initiatives — all while optimizing for the best customer experience.
During her seven-year tenure at Zeeto, a B2B data acquisition SaaS company dominating San Diego’s ‘best places to work’ charts for years, she managed teams and products generating well over $25MM in annual revenue and was an integral part of the company’s strategy, culture and growth including an early 370% revenue increase in three years for their flagship B2C property and later success in growing one professional services client from $0 to $1MM in monthly revenue within their first year.
In 2020, Julie’s mission shifted to create tech solutions rooted in social responsibility from customers and products to corporate culture and glocal involvement.
Inspired by people, hidden influences and systems thinking, she’s a mindful leader and empathic problem solver who uses data to be more creative and connects the dots for intentional solutions. She values excellence and connection in all things and passionately believes teams succeed as a tribe only through trust and by excelling as individuals.
